Registration with the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund is the first step toward requesting scholarship funds; it is a one-time process that should be completed as soon as possible. Registration with the Fund also constitutes registration for the subfunds operated in conjunction with the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund. Please register all family members who may attend a program of study after high school. Spouses or domestic partners of victims, college-age students, high school students, and all younger children should be registered.
The completed Registration Form and requested documentation must be submitted to verify eligibility for registration with the Fund. All registration documents must be submitted by mail; there is no online registration. You will receive acknowledgement approximately four weeks after receipt of your registration.
Updated scholarship information and application instructions will be sent annually to registered families.

The Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund benefits financially needy dependent children, spouses, and domestic partners of 9/11 victims. If you are eligible to receive assistance, you'll need to complete a one-time registration; after that, you will need to submit an application each year.
